Ahead of financial year 2018-19 closure, Honda Cars is offering generous discounts and benefits on various cars such as Amaze, Brio, City, BR-V and WR-V. Only a couple of weeks are left to avail these offers, which will expire after March 31, 2019.
Offers on hatchback Brio include benefits worth up to Rs 19,000 and insurance under MISP for just Rs 1. Honda has stopped production for Brio, but remaining stock of 2018 Brio is still available for sale. Amaze is the new entry-level Honda car in India and it has received good response, having registered sales of more than 60,000 units. Offers on Amaze include exchange bonus and extended warranty for 4th and 5th year. New customers are also eligible for Honda car maintenance program for a term of three years.
Bigger cars get more generous offers, for example Honda Jazz that gets exchange bonus worth Rs 25,000. Moreover, there are insurance benefits up to Rs 25,000 offered under MISP for Rs 1. For Honda City, offers include insurance worth up to Rs 32,000, exchange bonus of up to Rs 30,000 and free accessories worth Rs 10,000.
For WRV, Honda is offering exchange bonus of Rs 17,000 and insurance of up to Rs 25,000 for a nominal charge of Rs 1. This is a bit lower, as compared to Jazz and City because WR-V is the second bestselling car in Honda’s portfolio. Offers on WR-V are probably to neutralize intense competition from rivals such as Ford Freestyle. WR-V is expected to be updated by 2020, which will give Honda the opportunity to make it market relevant and increase market share in this segment.
Most tempting offers are available on BRV, comprising exchange bonus of Rs 50,000, insurance worth up to Rs 33,500 for Rs 1 and accessories worth Rs 16,500. For customers buying without exchange, offers include accessories worth Rs 26,500 and insurance as above. Honda cars that don’t have any offers include CR-V and newly launched 10th generation Civic.
