Mahindra XUV500 modified to take on any road with utmost comfort

Modified by Mahindra Customization, this XUV500 is now named ‘Moonraker’. It sports a completely different design with special features added, which make passengers feel comfortable and entertained, even during long road trips. It is by far one of the most luxuriously Mahindra XUV500 till date.

What makes it special is that it has been modified by Mahindra Customizations, the in-house customization specialists, who have also wowed audience with Thar Wanderlust and Scorpio Stinger.

Mahindra XUV500 Moonraker gets a new steel front grille with multi pod LED fog lamp ensuring better lighting, even on the darkest of road conditions. Dual lamps get mounted on the roof enhancing night driving while customized body moulds are also a part of the exterior. New wheel arches and after market alloy wheels along with massive mud terrain tyres; enhance its off-roading capabilities.

It also gets a rooftop luggage box, a spare wheel mounted on the rear hatch door and aircraft designed exhaust pipes. Interiors of the Mahindra XUV500 Moonraker has the third row seats removed while new and electrically adjustable seats are included. The seating is done in Nappa leather, while door trims also receive leather upholstery.

The stock floor carpet is replaced with a new royal black colored flooring while rear seats receive a snack tray, ambient lighting, 19” smart LED TV which can be connected to Amazon Firestick or Google Home, Wi-Fi connectivity, PlayStation 4, a mini refrigerator and USB ports along with 12V port and 230 Volt socket for charging of devices. The ceiling lights, which are inspired by Rolls Royce, can be controlled via the smartphone for different effects.

No changes have been made to the engine. Mahindra XUV500 Moonraker continues to be powered by the stock engine options. Price has also not yet been announced and will be revealed at the official unveiling. Expect a price bump of about Rs 10 lakhs, over the cost of stock XUV500.
