New Ford Endeavour mod-job done right – Worth noticing

Folks at Motormind Automotive Designs have given shape what is believed to be the first modification job performed on the new Ford Endeavour. The variant in question is a top-spec 3.2 liter 6 speed auto 4×4, which costs about INR 30 lakh, ex-showroom.

The styling kit from Motormind has made the Endeavour look even more beefier than before. Also, it has made the car much more attractive and sporty to look at.

Changes worth noticing are new matte black grille with FORD lettering in the front inspired from the Raptor, three LEDs placed on the grille, matte black skid plate, front bumper extensions with LED strips on each side, blackened headlamps, wheel arch extensions, new alloys, glossy black mirror caps, Maxxis all terrain tyres,

Offered in two trim levels – Trend and Titanium, new Ford Endeavour measures 4,892 mm in length, 1,860 mm in width and 1,837 mm in height. It sits on a wheelbase measuring 2,850 mm while ground clearance is at 225 mm. New Ford Endeavour rivals the likes of Toyota Fortuner, Chevrolet Trailblazer, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, and Hyundai Santa Fe.

Ford Endeavour base variant is powered by a 2.2 liter, 4 cylinder engine offering 158 bhp power and 385 Nm torque and is offered in 4×2 and 4×4 drivetrains. Top end Endeavour variant comes with a 3.2 liter, 5 cylinder engine capable of 197 bhp power and 470 Nm torque. It is only offered with 4×4 drivetrain. Former option is available with both 6 speed manual or 6 speed automatic gearbox, while latter only gets 6 speed AT.

Based on the Ford T6 platform, new Ford Endeavour is a completely new car with new gen platform, new engines, and completely redesigned exteriors and interiors. It sees changes in the form of a new front fascia with chrome signature trapezoidal grille, projector head lamps and DRLs besides a new bumper design and distinctive silver skid plate with LED fog lamps. Sitting on 18” alloy wheels wrapped in 260/60 tyres, the Ford Endeavour also receives two toned ORVMs with integrated puddle lights.

Interiors boast of a new cabin in terms of premium leather upholstery, a multi function steering wheel and spruced up equipment. Features include bucket seats in the front, multi function display, remote key entry and power windows. Dual zone AC automatic climate control, cruise control and power folding third row seats along with terrain management system are also a part of the features on board the new Ford Endeavour.
