Tata Harrier BS4 vs BS6 price difference is up to Rs 69,000

Tata Harrier BS6 was launched at the 2020 Auto Expo. Deliveries will start in the coming days, post the BS4 stocks at dealerships are over.

Tata Harrier BS6 has been launched with a lot upgrades. To start with, it gets a more powerful 170 PS diesel 2.0 liter engine. In BS4 Harrier, this engine delivered 140 PS. Not only the new BS6 engine is a lot more powerful delivering better acceleration and performance, it is also a lot smoother and refined. Thanks to BS6 update, NVH levels of the new Harrier has also been improved.

In addition to the engine update, you also get larger alloys which increases stability, panoramic sunroof, new colour, and infotainment system that is a more responsive and smoother. The new top of the line Harrier manual variant is called as the XZ+ while the automatic variant is XZA+. The top end XZA+ variant gets a new Calypso Red colour, machine cut 17” alloy wheels and cosmetic upgrades with a panoramic sunroof, new aerodynamic outer mirrors and a chrome pack where its accessories are concerned. With the new Calypso Red added to the colour palate, the Tata Harrier is now presented in colour options of Orcus White, Sparkle Cocoa, Telesto Grey and Atlas Black. There are also dual tone colour options on the XZ and XZ+ and on the automatic variants of XZA and XZA+ in Calypso Red and Orcus White colours.

Tata Harrier also receives updated interiors with 6 way powered driver seat with lumbar support, auto dimming IRVMs, new infotainment system and USB port on its central console. The Tata Harrier sunroof will measure 1,240mm in length and 870mm in width. It offers special features of anti pinch, rain sensing closure, roll over screen with black coating and separate user friendly switches for each function. It also gets global close function wherein the sunroof closes when the ignition is off.
